Files for making the horse from paper.

The final size of the model: 180 x 78 x 227 cm
Complexity: high

Files included:

• PDF Instructions (Eng, Rus);
• PDF file for print;
• Bonus: SVG file for plotter.

Paper needed:

• Density 250-350 gr/m ²;
• 80 sheets А3 (420 x 297 mm): 70 for body, 8 for mane and tail, and 2 for support.

You will also need:

• Sharp edged knife;
• Metal ruler;
• Glue (for example UHU or PVA wood glue);
• Polyurethane foam;
• 1 sheet of cardboard 680 x 680 mm for "puddles" under the hooves;
• printed hoof stencils on a roll printer;
• Cutting surface (this could be glass, an old piece of linoleum, or a clean kitchen cutting board).

What to do:

• Print the template; 
• Cut along solid lines;
• Incise along dotted lines;
• Bend along dotted lines;
• Glue according to numeration;

Paper templates are in PDF, optimized for printing and cutting by hand. We also provide a SVG version for cutting on your own plotter. Drawings and instructions are designed to ensure that any adult is able to create the sculpture of their choice. To assemble a model you do not need special skills, only your carefulness is needed. The build time of this model is 40 hours.
